Man suffers minor injury after concrete step collapses in Pattinapakkam

A 35-year-old man was injured when a block of steps collapsed at a residential complex of the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board on Saturday night. 

The city police said R. Anand, a resident of New Washermenpet, had gone to visit his friend, Paul Raj, residing at Nambikai Nagar in Pattinapakkam. As he was leaving the house around 9.30 p.m. on Saturday night, a block of concrete steps collapsed. He fell and sustained minor injuries.

The Foreshore Estate police have filed a case.
