Vaibhav Suryavanshi smashes 56-ball 100 in U19 Asia Cup, 6th century of 2025

India’s teen batting sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi continued rapid rise in his cricketing career as he slammed a breathtaking century in the opening game of the Under -19 Asia Cup against UAE on Friday, December 12 at ICC Academy Ground, Dubai. The 14-year-old took just 56 balls to complete his milestone as he got India off to a terrific start.

Suryavanshi slammed nine fours and five sixes in his innings, continuing his rich form in 2025. He started his innings cautiously and got off the mark on the sixth delivery with a boundary against Ali Asgar. The southpaw further took on the left-arm seamer in his next over and clobbered him for two sixes to get his innings going.

He completed his half century off 30 balls, with a maximum against Ahmed Khudadad and set himself for a big innings. Suryavanshi even got a reprieve on 85, getting dropped at long off as he tried to clear Uddish Suri. He eventually brought up his landmark in 56 balls.

It was the second List A hundred for the batting sensation after he registered his first earlier this year in England. It was also the sixth century for Suryavanshi in 2025 as he continued his rich form across formats.
