Victoria University, Australia, has launched the VU Block Model India Scholarship for eligible Indian students who submit their applications before April 15 for the first intake in September 2026. The scholarship offers ₹300,000 off for first-year tuition fees for UG programmes in Business, Data Science, IT, and Cyber Security, and PG programmes in Business Administration (Global) and Applied Information Technology. Techno India University, West Bengal, along with the Indian Institute of Materials Management, Centre for Research in Materials Management, and The Association of Engineers, India, organised a global summit on Redesigning Supply Chains for Emerging Economies. The event also saw the formal renewal of the MoU between IIMM and Techno India University to conduc cutting-edge research, foster innovation, and develop practical solutions in the supply chain and materials management.

Goa Institute of Management held its convocation for 617 students. Sunil Gupta, MD and CEO, Yotta Data Services, delivered the convocation address.

Universal AI University launched Gramin AI Yojana to teach basic AI skills to rural communities, focusing on practical applications to boost economic activities. First- and second-year B.Tech students designed and delivered AI training programmes for this initiative.

The Department of English and the Department of Teacher Education, Nagaland University, Kohima, organised a training programme and workshop on Social Empowerment and Beggary Prevention. A research team from the university along with others from PNG Government PG College Ramnagar, Nainital, used advanced Geographic Information System modelling and remote sensing techniques to investigate environmental change and degradation in Kohima. The findings were published in Environmental Monitoring and Assessment.

The School of Management and Entrepreneurship, Shiv Nadar University Delhi-NCR, hosted a seminar on Governance and Regulation in a VUCA World: Understanding the Business of Government. Researchers from NIT Rourkela have developed an AI-enabled system that can track human sleep postures. A paper co-authored by Prof. Saptarshi Chatterjee, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering; Shiladitya Mondal, B.Tech student; and Debangshu Dey, Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, Jadavpur University, was published in IEEE Sensors Journal
