This new train will connect the southern tip of Tamil Nadu with coastal Karnataka through Kerala, strengthening west coast rail connectivity.

The Nagercoil-Mangaluru Amrit Bharat Express train is expected to provide faster and affordable long-distance travel along the coastlines of Kerala boosting tourism, fisheries, small trade, and inter-state economic integration.

The Nagercoil-Mangaluru-Nagercoil Amrit Bharat Express will operate as train number 16329/16330. The train will run via major railway stations such as Thiruvananthapuram Central, Kollam, Chengannur, Kottayam.

Nagercoil-Mangaluru Amrit Bharat Express train: Stoppages

During its journey between Nagercoil and Mangaluru, the train will stop at 20 stations. These are: Kasaragod, Kannur, Thalassery, Kozhikode, Tirur, Shoranur, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Changanassery, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Mavelikara, Kayamkulam, Karunagappalli, Kollam, Sivagiri, Varkala, Thiruvananthapuram Central.

The Nagercoil-Mangaluru Amrit Bharat Express will run as a weekly service. The train will run from Nagercoil every Tuesday while from Mangaluru, it will depart every Wednesday.

Train number 16329 Nagercoil-Mangaluru-Nagercoil Amrit Bharat Express will leave Nagercoil at 11:40 hrs on Tuesday and arrive at Mangaluru at 05:00 hrs, the next day. In the return direction, train number 16330 Mangaluru-Nagercoil Amrit Bharat Express will depart Mangaluru at 08:00 hrs on Wednesday to reach Nagercoil at 22:05 hrs, the same day.
