Delhi medical student alleges rape, says accused drugged her, filmed lewd videos – Delhi News
An 18-year-old medical student in Delhi has accused a 20-year-old man of drugging and sexually assaulting her at a hotel. According to the woman, the accused lured her to the hotel under the pretext of friendship, where he allegedly raped her, took obscene photos and videos, and threatened to make the footage public.
The student is originally from Jind, Haryana, and resides at a Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Medical College hostel in Adarsh Nagar. The accused has been identified as Amanpreet.
The alleged incident, which took place on September 9 at Hotel Apple, came to light only recently after the woman filed a complaint.
In her complaint, she claimed that the accused and his friends administered intoxicants and wrongfully confined her in the hotel premises.
In addition to the sexual assault and blackmail, the student alleged that the accused repeatedly forced her to accompany him and subjected her to continuous intimidation and harassment.
The police have registered a case and a hunt is on the nab the accused.
