Trump travelled on at least 8 Epstein flights: 11,000 new files released in largest document dump
The Justice Department released a new batch of documents related to the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein investigation on Tuesday, with the latest batch mentioning Donald Trump in connection to flight records of Epstein’s private jet, though authorities have not accused the US President of any criminal involvement.
The release includes about 29,000 pages and dozens of video clips, some reportedly filmed inside a prison. Epstein died in 2019 in a New York jail.
One of the Epstein documents includes an email stating that “Donald Trump travelled on Epstein’s private jet many more times than previously has been reported (or that we were aware).” The email, dated January 7, 2020, is part of a chain with the subject line “RE: Epstein flight records.”
The sender and recipient are redacted, but the bottom of the email lists an assistant US attorney from the Southern District of New York, with the name also redacted.
This is a developing story. It will be updated.
